TangBo Art Museum & Calligraphy Class

We toured the TangBo Art Museum which houses a collection of Shaanxi folk art and representative ancient paintings. Our guide walked us through in historical sequence. The first gallery had the Folk Art.

20120611-164436.jpg. Our guide showed us some puppet shadows made from donkey skin. Donkey skin apparently lasts longer than other materials and makes for excellent puppets with moving limbs and parts.
